My name is Dennis Watts and I am a small business consultant.
I have operated a few small businesses, some successful, some not so successful, so I have experience on both sides of the fence.
I have been reading and studying small business topics for many years. Though I did not complete it, I began working on an MBA in the early 80’s taking graduate level courses in Accounting, Marketing and Business Law.
I have been conducting small business/entrepreneurial seminars for over 12 years, mostly through Small Business Centers at community colleges in the North Carolina Community College system. I have contracted with at least 8 of the state’s 58 community colleges.
I am a certified Rural Entrepreneurship through Action Learning (REAL) master facilitator and agribusiness facilitator. I earned these certifications through North Carolina REAL Enterprises and have facilitated REAL seminars, both traditional and agricultural related, for NC REAL and several North Carolina community colleges.
